Worst storm in the History of Kuwait, 20 people missing due to the storm...


 

A massive sand storm hit Kuwait around 4 pm Friday on 25/March/2011.

This is the first time to witness the heavy dust storm in the history of Kuwait.

According to Kuwait Media The dark cloud hovering over many areas in Kuwait, plunged  the country in to complete darkness before sunset.

The civil aviation department in Kuwait decided to close the airport due to bad weather.

شهدت الكويت في الساعة الرابعة عصر الجمعة 25/3/2011 عاصفة ترابية قد تكون الأولى من نوعها التي تشهدها الكويت. وذكرت وسائل إعلام كويتية أنه أطلت غيمة سوداء فوق عدة مناطق الكويت وحولت النهار ليلا في لحظات بعدة مناطق من الكويت. وأعلنت الإدارة العامة للطيران المدني عن إغلاق مطار الكويت الدولي بسبب سوء الأحوال الجوية.
