The Kuwait Parliamentery Delegation met with the Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa


 

 The Kuwait Parliamentery Delegation met with the Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa . During the meeting Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa requested a Parliamentary Friendship Delegation of Kuwait to explore the possibility of providing employment opportunities for Sri Lankan engineers and technicians at oil refineries in Kuwait.

During the bilateral talks, Mr. Rajapaksa also requested the delegation to ensure the safety of Sri Lankan females employed in Kuwait.

In response. Al Damkhi said Sri Lankans are law abiding employees in their country unlike other foreign employees.

He said he was honoured to meet an experienced figure like Mr. Rajapaksa who wasone time Prime Minister and President of Sri Lanka.

 إجتمع الوفد الكويتي مع زعيم المعارضة والرئيس السابق لجمهورية سريلانكا السيد/ ماهيندا راجاباكسا  حيث طالب زعيم المعارضة إستكشاف إمكانية توفير فرص عمل للمهندسين والفنيين السريلانكيين في مصافي النفط في الكويت. وطالب أيضا ضمان سلامة الخادمات السريلانكيات في الكويت. ومن جانبه أشاد رئيس الوفد الدكتور عادل الدمخي السريلانكيون الذين يعملون في الكويت حبث أنهم ملتزمون بالقانون العمل في الكويت
